Solo & Cabin Charter
For Solos

You Don't Need a Group to Sail Turkey

Cabin charter — buy one bed on a fixed-itinerary departure, share the boat with 8–12 strangers (mostly couples and pairs). Cheaper than private charter and a great way to make trip friends.

If you're travelling alone and a 6-person friend group isn't an option, cabin charter is the answer. You book a single cabin on a fixed-departure gulet, share the boat with 8–12 other guests (typically a mix of couples and pairs), and follow a pre-planned route — same all-inclusive food, captain, and route as a private charter.

Per-person pricing: €700–€1,500 per week depending on the boat and season. At the high end, this is comparable to a mid-tier all-inclusive resort, except your hotel sails to a new bay every morning, and your fellow guests are a global mix of solo travellers and couples up for spontaneous dinners ashore.

What to look for in the right vessel

Filters we pre-applied to the solo & cabin charter shortlist below.

Single or shared cabin

Most cabins have two single beds — the captain pairs you with another solo traveller of the same gender, or you can pay a single supplement for a cabin to yourself.

Pre-formed group

A typical cabin charter has 8–10 guests: a mix of couples, friend-pairs, and solo travellers. Easy to find dinner companions; equally easy to retreat to your cabin.

Fixed Saturday-to-Saturday

Cabin charters run on set departures. You join in port and disembark at the end of the week.

International mix

Most cabin charters draw guests from across Europe, Australia, North America. English is the lingua franca on board.

No experience needed

Crew handles everything; you bring swimwear and a paperback. The route is pre-set, so no negotiation needed.

Frequently asked questions

For solo & cabin charter.

Will I have to share a cabin with a stranger?

Only if you want the lower price. Most cabin charters offer a single supplement (typically +30–50%) to convert the twin cabin into your own room. If you do share, the captain matches you with someone of the same gender.

Are cabin charters mostly young/old?

Mostly 30–55 — a wide spread. Solo travellers tend to skew slightly older than the couples. Younger backpacker-style trips are usually a different product (party boats, not cabin charters).

What if I don't click with the group?

Cabin charters give you privacy in your cabin and shared time on deck. You can be as social or as quiet as you want. We have not heard of an unhappy story specifically because of group dynamics.

How is dinner handled?

Lunch is on board (included). Dinner is often ashore at a coastal restaurant, paid individually, organised by the captain. You can opt out and have a simple dinner aboard if you prefer.

Best months for cabin charter?

May, June, September, October — most departures run during these months. July and August have fewer cabin charters because most boats switch to private charters during peak season.
