A Turkish Charter Built for the Way You Want to Travel
Bigger cabins, recently refurbished vessels, AC throughout, gentler routes. The slower, more comfortable side of the Turkish coast — without the backpacker crowd.
A 50+ charter is a different product to the 20-something friends-group trip, even on the same coastline. The vessel matters more (newer boats, properly maintained AC, larger en-suite cabins), the routes are gentler (shorter daily passages, more cultural shore visits), and the food is the centrepiece — not an afterthought.
We curate this segment toward gulets refurbished in 2020 or later, with master-cabin upgrades, generators sized to run AC overnight, and chefs who can adapt to dietary requirements (low-salt, gluten-free, lighter Turkish-Mediterranean). Routes lean toward the historically rich — Kekova, the Lycian Coast, Knidos.
На что смотреть при выборе судна
Фильтры, применённые к подборке (charters for 50+) ниже.

AC overnight
Generator sized to run cabin AC through the night — essential June–September.
Cultural routes
Kekova sunken city, Knidos archaeology, Lycian rock tombs. Shore stops are guided and meaningful, not just photo-ops.

Recently refurbished
We filter to vessels with a refit since 2020 — fresh paint, new mattresses, updated plumbing.

Частые вопросы
Для (charters for 50+).
Are the boats accessible for guests with mobility issues?
Honest answer: most gulets are not wheelchair-accessible. Cabin doors are narrow, ladders connect deck levels, and bathrooms are compact. Guests who can manage stairs and short ladders are fine; full mobility limitations are challenging. Contact us about specific needs and we'll filter accordingly.
How much physical activity is involved?
Almost none on a relaxed charter. Embarkation/disembarkation involves a short pier walk; boarding the swim ladder requires moderate upper-body strength but the crew always assists. Hiking ashore (e.g. to Lycian rock tombs) is optional.
Can the captain adjust pace if it's too tiring?
Always. The Turkish gulet captain culture is to defer to the guests — anchor longer, stop earlier, skip a hop. Mention upfront that you prefer a relaxed pace.
Is there decent medical care along the routes?
Yes. Major ports (Bodrum, Fethiye, Marmaris, Kaş, Antalya) all have hospitals and pharmacies. Smaller anchorages have less, but the captain can sail to a port within 1–2 hours from anywhere on the standard routes.
What about the heat?
May, June, September, and October are the comfortable months — daytime 25–30°C, evenings cool. July and August are 35°C+ which many guests find draining. We strongly recommend May/June or September.
