Do I have to book the whole boat as a couple?
For a private charter, yes — but on smaller 3-cabin gulets the weekly rate (typically €8-15k) divided across both of you for a week is comparable to a luxury hotel. Cabin charters are an alternative if you prefer to share the boat with other couples.
What's the smallest gulet I can charter for two?
There are 3-cabin gulets in the MaviSail fleet around 18–22 metres that sleep 4–6 guests but are routinely chartered by couples who want extra cabin space (one cabin for sleeping, another for storage and dressing).
Is it weird to be the only guests on a 6-person boat?
